‘Barn’ Weddings

Updated: Apr 1, 2021

With nearly 100 superb wedding venues in West Sussex it's easy to be overwhelmed when it comes to choosing your venue. However, if you’ve already made the decision to have a ‘barn’ wedding then this reduces your options to a more manageable 15-20. Now that’s more like it!

Brookfield Barn

From a photographer’s point of view photographing a barn wedding is always exciting because the barns tend to have characterful wooden structures that are often flooded with contrasting shards of light. It makes for a lovely backdrop to your wedding photos.

On the whole the barn venues have spacious green outside areas and quite often a pond or lake, another pleasing aspect for photographs. As night draws in, outside lighting can be found which transforms the scene giving it a warm, magical, twinkling vibe!
