What areas do you cover?
We're based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex and cover all the surrounding counties including East Sussex, Kent, Surrey and Hampshire. Further afield we travel anywhere in the UK and Europe which may incur additional fees to cover our costs.
Are you Insured?
Yes. We have professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
What equipment do you use?
We use Canon 5D Mark III & Mark IV cameras and professional Canon lenses (L Series for those that know their stuff!). We also use Canon Radio Speedlight Flashes and various other equipment as needed on the day. We have backup camera bodies, and along with two photographers we've pretty much got everything covered!
How long should I allow for group shots?
We discuss this with you at our pre-wedding meetings and during email exchanges. We aim to make the group shots as relaxed and informal as possible and take the least time. These photos can take anywhere from 3-10 minutes each depending on numbers and age ranges. We may ask for someone in your party to help organise the groupings since this makes life easier as they will know everyone on your list. We would recommend keeping the number of group shots to around six.
Do you do couple shots?
Yes, we really love this bit! This is 'you' time and we find that our couples really appreciate taking time out from the party to focus on each other. We like to use our long telephoto lenses at this point and 'hang back' - giving you some privacy and allowing us to capture those candid and intimate moments. We may also pose some shots just to ensure that we get you looking your best!
The best time for these shots is just before sunset. However, if this does not fit in with your schedule that's fine, we always try to get two slots with you if time allows, one just after your group shots and one early evening. Please allow at least 20 minutes for your couple shots.
When will we get our photographs?
We like to post a few teaser photos via our Facebook page a day or two after your wedding day. The rest of your images will be with you in between two to four weeks depending on the time of the wedding season.
Can you help with an album?
Yes! We are very keen that our wedding couples get to see their photos in print! There's nothing quite like a beautiful wedding album that you can feel and hold and share with your family and friends for years to come. We have a selection of exquisite albums which you'll see at our first meeting, you can then decide whether it's something you'd like to have.

Meetings prior to your wedding
Do I need to provide a meal for you?
We're with you from early morning until late evening and so a hot meal is always very welcome! However, if this isn't possible then we are happy to make our own arrangements. Either way we would not expect to sit with your guests, we find a quiet corner out of the way and prepare for the next moments of your day.
Have you ever shot at my wedding venue?
If we haven't shot a wedding at your venue, you needn't worry. We always visit the venue with you both to walk through your day. We stay behind after our meeting to check out the very best places for your group and couple shots, and for wet weather plans.
How many photos will I receive from my wedding?
We provide over 500 images, both high resolution for printing and in low resolution for email and social media. We also provide colour versions of any photos that we have converted to black and white.
What happens if you are ill, or if there is an emergency?
Since 2015, we have never missed a wedding due to ill health or emergency. We take very good care of our health and fitness. We also only take on a select number of weddings per year so we're much less likely to be ill on your day.
However, if the unexpected happens, as there are two of us, chances are that one of us will still be able to photograph your wedding. We also know other photographers who we can call on if needs be.

How much of a deposit is required and when is it due?
We require £200 deposit at the time of booking to secure your date. The balance is due one month before your wedding date.
Are you LGBT++ friendly?
Of course, absolutely! We support equality and diversity.
The term 'bride and groom' on this website is purely for simplicity of wording. We know it can be groom and groom or bride and bride or otherwise. Just let us know how you would like to be addressed.
